"I had just turned 50 when I was diagnosed with a Vestibular Schwannoma, also called an Acoustic Neuroma - a 4cm brain tumour. Fortunately, it was not cancerous, but I would need brain surgery to remove it or it would kill me.
I set up a call with Peter to discuss my situation and he kindly and calmly went through all the cover I had in place, explaining what I needed to do to ensure that, if the worst happened, my family would receive my life cover proceeds as quickly as possible.
